Our intergenerational and cross-cultural destructive behaviors are linked to an energetic ecosystem of "viral" operations living behind the veil of ego consciousness.

Besides offering novel ways of seeing darkness and destructive cycles, Shadow Tech documents the authors' personal spiritual philosophy they call Living in the Movie and effective methods for balancing themselves and raising their own consciousness.

He also has a background in real estate related law and legal strategies. Melissa Mari is a lifelong performance artist with a back-ground in theatre, jazz, classical, folk and heavy rock styles. She healed herself of cervical cancer in the mid nineties, when her investigations into the human shadow began. Now, she teaches effective methods for transmuting destructive shadow energies. Main Ingredient Of Artificial Sweetener Splenda Linked To Leukemia

Splenda 

Artificial sweetener sucralose – marketed under the brand name Splenda – may not be harmless at all, according to a new study in Italy.

Researchers from the Ramazzini Institute have found that Splenda substantially raised the risk of leukemia and other cancers.

Splenda hit the market in the 1990s as an alternative to white sugar and other artificial sweeteners that have been linked to health issues. In 2013, it was downgraded from a "safe" to "caution" standing because of earlier research also from the Ramazzini Institute.

The new study, discussed in the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health, gave 457 male mice, along with 396 female mice, different levels of sucralose, as added to their food from 12 days of gestation until they died.

The team saw an overall increased rate of malignant cancer in male mice as Splenda amounts increased in the diets. The researchers also detected a substantially higher incidence of leukemia in the male rodents whose dose levels of sucralose reached 2,000 to 16,000 ppm.

According to the authors, the results do not back up previous findings that sucralose remains "biologically inert."

"More studies are necessary to show the safety of sucralose, including new and more adequate carcinogenic bioassay on rats," they wrote, emphasizing the need for follow-up studies given the sucralose intake of millions worldwide.

Even less intake poses a problem, added scientist Lisa Lefferts of the Center for Science in the Public Interest. A substance that leads to cancer at high doses can also do so at lower doses, only with a smaller risk, she said.

In a statement, Heartland Food Products, the makers of Splenda refuted the study claims, calling the institute's body of research unreliable and with an unconventional design that does not adhere to internationally recognized standards.

Almost two years ago I participated at a symposium on genomics at The New York Academy of Sciences. Dr. Jennifer Doudna of UC Berkeley presented a technology called CRISPR/Cas9 that allows for precise manipulation of the DNA. 

CRISPR stands for a long sequence of words that you will most likely forget, but here it goes – Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats. It is used by bacteria to protect themselves against invading pathogens.

When virus DNA invades bacteria, it leads to the production of two short RNAs. One of these RNAs matches the sequence of the virus. Together with Cas9 (an enzyme that can cut DNA), these RNAs form a complex that works like this:

1.The matching sequence (guiding RNA) looks for its target in the viral genome.
2.When it finds it, Cas9 cuts the target viral DNA. The virus is disabled.

Researchers found that they could engineer the system not only to cut viral DNA, but any DNA sequence they desire. To do this, they simply change the guiding RNA to match their target. This can be done in living cells too. Here’s how it works:

1.When CRISPR/Cas9 is put in the nucleus of a cell, it locks onto a sequence called PAM. 2.Cas9 unzips the DNA and matches it to the target RNA.
3.When the match occurs, Cas9 cuts both strands of the DNA.  
4.Normally, the cell tries to repair the DNA. However, the process is prone to error.

When DNA is not repaired correctly, the resulting gene could be mutated or disabled. Its altered function allows researchers to better understand how it works.

If researchers want to be more precise and replace defective (mutated) genes with healthy copies, they add a piece of DNA (the template) to the complex that carries a healthy copy. So, in this case, resuming from step 3:

5 Attachments That Keep Us Enslaved In Life

 

We all want to be free and feel free, but what does this really look like?  Most people imagine it looks like something along the lines of being your own boss, not living by the alarm clock, or leaving the retrace.  The truth is, freedom is more of a mental state than anything else, and you can be working a 9-5 job and be absolutely free.  You can also be your own boss and be totally enslaved.

It all comes down to your intentions, your desires, and your level of attachment to particular outcomes.  Are you resisting your heart and resisting life, or are you flowing with them both and embracing each moment?  For the last year and a half, I have been my own boss.  I have also been more of a slave than ever before up until recently, not because of my lifestyle, but because of my mentality.

Here are 5 attachments we need to let go of to experience true freedom in life: 

1) Societies expectations 

 

Your dad wants you to get a good education.  Your mom wants you to find a nice girl or guy to marry.  Your teachers want to see you land a 9-5 job.  The media forces down your throat what the “ideal” life is and wants you to spend your life chasing after the “American dream”.  All of these outside influences keep you trapped in a state of mind that is plagued by the constant need to impress someone or live up to expectations that have nothing to do with what YOU really want to do as a person.

Maybe you want to drop out of school and start your own business.  Maybe you want to be single, and you are content without having very much money or material items.  The world around you is constantly trying to make you into someone you are not by imposing their expectations on to your life.  This creates a program in your psychology that keeps you constantly trying fulfill these expectations to feel like you are “successful”, when in reality you are spending your energy trying to make a mark in someone else’s consciousness to gain their approval.  To be free is to live for yourself.

2) Your past 

 

Your past doesn’t define who you are.  Contrary to what people around you may tell you, you are not defined by your sins, achievements, mistakes, successes, or failures.  Anything you have done in your past, whether it is good or bad, will prevent you from evolving if you are attached to it.  If it is bad and you are attached to it, you are going to cause yourself depression and self-hate over something that no longer even exists.  If it is good and you are attached to it, you are projecting yourself out of the present moment and into a memory-stream.

Your past is meant to act as a guide and a compass to serve you, but we are told by the world that we are the sum of our history.  When we apply for a job, we are expected to provide a resume.  We are also expected to provide a kind of resume to the world when we are discussing who we are as a person.  When we see an old friend we haven’t seen in a while, the first thing that often comes up is “What have you been up to?”.

This translates into “What have you done or accomplished within your recent past?”, which keeps us attached to the past and reliant on it for our sense of identity and worth in the world.  Whatever you have or haven’t done in your past, it doesn’t matter and it doesn’t define you.  The only thing that matters is what you choose to do with this moment moving forward.

Stephan A. Schwartz is a Senior Fellow in the Brain, Mind, and Healing Program at the Samueli Institute. He has spent a lifetime of work focused on exceptional human performance, particularly involving aspects of consciousness. Mr. Schwartz' experimental work began in 1973, when he wrote his first book, The Secret Vaults of Time, a survey of all the research done using the non-local aspect of the mind to locate and reconstruct archaeological sites. Considered one of the founders of Remote Viewing, Mr. Schwartz became Senior Fellow of the Philosophical Research Society in 1976, where he carried out the Deep Quest submarine study, one of the milestone experiments in parapsychology, establishing that nonlocal performance was not an electromagnetic phenomenon.

After founding the Mobius Society where he was the Research Director and Board Chairman for the next 17 years, Mr. Schwartz carried out many experimental studies focusing on three main research areas: remote viewing, therapeutic intention, and non-local awareness and its relationship to genius, religious epiphanies, and personality types.

From this experimental research he has slowly developed a model for the various kinds of observed nonlocal functioning being an informational process. During his distinguish career, he has published over 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals including Nature, Science, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has written books on Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson disease, and PTSD for the consumers. He has been a member of numerous professional organizations, and served as an ad-hoc member of various Study Sections of the NIH. He was frequently invited to speak at the several National and International meetings including very prestigious conferences, such as Princess Takamatsu Cancer Conference in Tokyo, Cold Spring Harbor meeting on Differentiation of Cancer Cells in Long Island, New York; and NATO Conference on Radiation Protection in Kiev, Ukraine. 

In 1982, he was invited by the Nobel Prize Committee to nominate a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Medicine. He delivered the 1999 Harold Harper Lecture at the meeting of the American College of Advancement of Medicine. He is a former President of the International Society for Nutrition and Cancer, and Chief Scientific Officer of the Premier Micronutrient Corporation.
